  gtm:genoemdNaar "Genoemd naar Anton Pieter Maarten Lafeber (1893 - 1972), de schrijver van een boek over het Goudse dialect. Aanvankelijk was hij houtdraaier, maar in de crisisjaren kwam hij in dienst bij de gemeente als incasseerder van het spaarfonds. Hij bezocht de klanten van het fonds aan huis en noteerde de gesproken taal in een kwitantieboek. Toen hij in de avonduren conciërge werd van de handelsavondschool kreeg hij het beheer over de opleidingsbibliotheek en daarmee toegang tot de vakliteratuur over taalwetenschappen. Ook werd hij correspondent van de dialectencommissie van de Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen. Het door hem verzamelde materiaal heeft hij na zijn pensionering verwerkt tot een standaardwerk over het Goudse dialect. Voor dit werk werd hij in 1965 door prins Bernhard onderscheiden met een Zilveren Anjer. Het boek Het dialect van Gouda werd in 1967 uitgegeven door de Oudheidkundige Kring ‘Die Goude’ met financiële steun van de Stichting voor Zuiver Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek."@nl ;
